Biography
I grew up in Idaho and have always loved the outdoors. Some of my favorite activities include fishing, hunting, and mountain biking. In college, I pursued a degree in civil engineering. While there I learned about fire protection engineering and found it interesting. I tailored some of my course work to help me pivot into a fire protection career.
I enjoy working in fire protection because of the technical challenges and the environment it provides to the public. It feels rewarding to contribute to a field focused on safety and protection. Today, I continue to develop my knowledge and stay engaged with the fire protection community.
He currently works as a nuclear facility fire protection engineer at the Idaho National Laboratory.
